I am going to install a FM Signal Booster on my car today since I lost some reception with my shorter antenna. All I need to know is where is the easiest place to access my antenna wire from? Does anyone know?

The easiest place to get at the wire is right at the antenna. Just pop the plastic cover off that is next to the light in the hatch area. You should be able to access it easily, but this may not be the best place to install the booster equip.

In any case, I belive that the antenna mast only picks up AM signals. The FM antenna is in the hatch glass. (some wires are for defroster) That said, the best place to access the FM signal would be right at the back of the HU.

I dont know about that. When I had no antenna, I recieved AM stations clearly, but FM wouldnt even come in. When I put my antenna back in, FM came back loud and clear. I think it picks up both frequencies. But, i'm not 100% sure.

only way to tell is to look at the original sticker from your car. if it says diversity antenna then its the glass kind.
