What is this front suspension like? I've heard it has a veery agressive camber curve and is similar to a double wishbone set up. Does it use a strut for a locating link, or does it have an upper control arm? I find it kind of interesting that teh same rear suspension with the same rear roll-steer could be used with both types of front suspension, wouldn't the two cars (SS, and non-SS) handle very differently (Is the suspension's frequency determined only by the vertical stiffness, or does the geometry matter a well?)

I'm guessing that In order for the Super Strut suspension to fit a standard Celica one would need new uprights, control arms, subframe, steering tie rods, and the strut housing. Would new axles be needed for the new uprights?

This thread might help: http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69553&highlight=ssii

Probably be a good idea to message the dude that owns it.

I did and he really liked it, but I don't think he had any data on it or ahd driven a Mac Strut car vs. SS car. He did send me nice pics though and he sold the car and got an Elise. I remeber reading from someone (I think Predator) that they coudln't swap Mac and SS, but I'm not seeing why. I don't think Toyota would make two different frames, and whatnot.

I've got superstrut but i dont know much about it...maybe i'll take off my wheel and take a pic of the sus setup. All i know it's supposed to handle better than the mcpearson strut and the front brake disc are bigger....
