My friend had them set at 2F/3R with Tein S-Tech springs and they were very comfortable.

3 in front and 3 in back with stock GT-S tires and H&R springs. I tried 3 in front 4 in back, and the tires just lost traction all the time way too easy.

I've got them with the same springs you have. I have them set to 2F/2R... best setting I found for comfort and performance.

If anyone has the KYB AGX with Hotchkis springs, can you let me know what settings you currently favour for street driving.

i have 1f/2 r...it rides just like stock. i love it :gap:

since its adjustable, its just a simple twist if u want to go from street to performance settings.

ok i'm looking for a new shocks and need some help guys since you guys have this shock set up. i currently have tanabe spring 2F/2B with stock shocks. i have it about a year now and right now it keeps making squeeky noice.

-do you think it will get rid of my squeeky noice if i get this shock?
-how do you like your set up as daily drive? bouncy?

Where is the noise coming from (front/rear/side)? Does it happen when you press down on the car, or just over bumps? Either way, your springs will kill KYBs in about a year or so, so don't waste your money. You can either get KYBs and more compatible springs (1.5" or less), or if you want to stay at a 2" drop, you'll need custom Koni struts for the Tanabes, or coilovers, which you can adjust to almost any height (and lower than 2") without worrying about blowing the struts.

the noice comes from the right rear when i go over a bump or just little bump. what about if i get 1'5 drop, can i adjust the shock to lower the car like 2'? i don't understand when you guys say 2F/2R, what does that mean? does it mean 2' front drop and rear?

Yeah, the car is lowered 2" front and rear with the Tanabes. Very bad for strut life. There are no lowering adjustments on OEM style struts, so the only thing that's adjustable on the better ones (KYB AGX, Tokico Illumina, Koni Yellow) is the damping rate (stiffness/how fast the strut compresses/expands). If you get coilovers (TRD, Tein, JIC, B&G, Tanabe, etc.), you can adjust the height of the car from around 1.5"-2.5" (adjustable spring perches), and most have damping adjustments.

The noise might be your camber links. Do you have stock or aftermarket (Hotchkis)?
