View Full Version : 1/4 raceways in nyc area?

does anyone know of any raceways in the nyc area. the closest i could find was atco raceway. which is kind of far from me. im suffering withdrawl from capital raceway. and the only one i could find in ny was close to rochester. so if anyone knows of any that are closer would be great...

yeah so you guys don't know of anything in the connecitcut area or northern jersey area. its been a long night...
so what do you do to drag in 1/4 areas for times?

umm.. englishtown is 45 mins from the city... take turnpike south to exit 11 to parkway south to exit 123 to rt 9 south to the union hill west exit 3 miles make a right and you'll be on pension rd... raceway on the right.

yeah, the westhampton track (li motorsports park) is exit 70-71 off the LIE so it's all the way on the end of LI, but if you just hop onto the LIE and drive fast all the way down (and manage to avoid cops for the entire length of the island) you could make it there in under 1.5 hours with no problem.

i've been there a few times. i'm off exit 51, if you're planning on going anytime soon, hit me up with a private message or something and we could meet up around here or something and go.

Englishtown is so close, you only pay the tunnel toll and you fill up your tank in NJ, get your toll worth.

englishtown is huge tho!!! you guys know of any smaller tracks i could go to...this would be my first time at the track and i don't want to go someplace where thousands of people go each weekend... and how much is it to run?

there's limotorsportspark.com if you're in NYC, about an hour to hour and a half drive out. it's small and pretty ghetto, but quite fast. also expensive as hell (westhampton :rolleyes: ), about $45 to run.

best place would be englishtown, u can go to island dragway in north NJ but its in the middle of bumble fock and not many people like the imports up there
