Parts of Chicago roads can suck really bad. I thought my car was going to fall apart yesterday and the day before driving around. So from default setting of 8 in the front and 6 in the back, I went to 12 in the front 10 in the back. Still didn't notice any big difference so just put it all the way to 16 up from and 16 in the back. I still think it's quite stiff. Does it take a bit of breaking into do for these setting changes to effect? Or is it becuase my coilovers are brand new?
Mostly it's driveable but once I come to a town with patches, railways, and such.... it's quite painful... physically

I don't remember mine having a large "break in" period. Once I set the dampers, it didn't take that long for them to adjust. Now you probably won't feel a difference between say 2 clicks, but 4 or 5 clicks should make a pretty big difference. I know that there is a large difference between full stiff and full soft, and that doesn't take more than 2 or 3 minutes to adjust.

well, i did notice a slight difference but riding on bumpy roads still sucked though. especially oh the Wheeling Rd. (man, they have one ****ty ass road there)
Also I noticed how you can go more than 16 clicks but I know that's not recommended. I'll put it to 16 in the front and 14 in the rear for now.

Any coilover is going to be a harsher ride than you had stock.
