For those who have had the 30k miles service, how much did it cost? I just called the dealership and they quoted $380 or something like that. I'm pretty sure that's not right. From what I've read it seems like u can do most of the stuff on your own, but I'd like to have them check through the car for wear on parts and routine tightening of parts.

yeah, you can do most on your own but the $380 quote sounds right, my dealership quotes it at $345.00

i just got mine done last week. thats for the rip you up the ass service. if you just want to know the car is in ordeer, want the oil changed, the tires rotated, and radiator flushed, get the mini service its $99. the other service the only difference is they change the fuel filter.....which doesnt need changing at 30k miles ($95 part supposively)......and they change the tranny fluid, which doenst need to be done yet, or you could do it yourself for a fraction of the cost. thast my $.02

Yeah I didn't do the full 30k service either. Ask them to show you the list of what they do for the service and tell them you want to have them NOT do some of the stuff to cut costs down.. I ended up paying about 170 bucks for my service based on what I wanted them to do. I don't remember the specifics.. but, for example, I told them not to bother inspecting the exhaust (cuz its a TRM.. what the hell would be the point of them looking at that).. believe it or not, that saved me cash.

biggest waste of money ever.... my ass hurts....
I got it done, but i told them not to balance the tires, no alignment, no tranny oil change, no oil change. That sh*t still cost me $320 with a $25 off coupon! What bullsh*t. That's one way to guarantee a non returning customer. They didn't even fix my stupid tension that's rattling AGAIN. Only reason i got it done is because i wanted them to do the random wear checks and "chassis oiling" (whatever that means) that i wouldn't know how to do. Well the car feel exactly the same now.... definitely not a good way to drop 3 hundred.

Its good if you end up having a warranty claim.....

I know the bumper to bumper goes away at 36k, but the powertrain is good for a while yet...
