I have a stock '00 GT-S 6 Speed and I get around 28mpg. Last tank was 31mpg, since it had more highway driving.

I'm getting around 28-30 mpg. But that could be because I drive like a woman now that my clutch is gone :(

Usually on weeks I have to pay bills. Cuz Im cheap and wanna save gas and not spend 100 on gas a week.

But on weeks im bill free im prolly closer to 20-21.

Well u do have 300hp and 300ft/lb and run all 4 wheels at the same time. If you think about it, its not that bad for the power and drivetrain. I had a '00 2.5RS that was running about 17-20mpg. Previous owner did something to it, dunno what, but lost a lotta power.

Yeah. I just filled my GT @ 407 with a little over 12 gallons. Had 2-3 bars left. That is about 34mpg cruising 90% of the time at 75mph.

I can run a full tank in my GT-S 6spd out here in California to 400-410 miles and have 1 line showing.

Usually, it's about 400mi a tank.

28 - 30 mpg @ 60% city 40 % highway. I could probably get better if I stopped hitting lift so much and drove the speed limit on the freeway :).

Switching your intake system will not resolve the problem. You will need a tuned ECU to correct the a/f ratio.

I get 33.7 mpg average...+ - 0.5 range... always..
00 gt manual, 60% freeway(80mph average),
40% local(50 mph average).
car has 10500 miles now..
compare to my stolen 03 Si, it kicks ass.
it only made 25mpg at best..
and my girl friend's RSX auto 03 is only getting 22 to 24 mpg..
I don't know how honda and acura got 27~33 mpg out of that
engine.
I think it's just bullS***.
celica wins big in mpg fight.

Intakes make cars run leaner, so if you're running richer than stock, then there's most likely something else wrong with your car (MAFS, O2 sensors maybe?).

Fellas, I get 450 miles to the tank. I have to drive country roads (with no cops) 60 miles a day and I keep it between 65-70 in 6th. So I guess that is around 31. I find that if you keep it in 6th and go a little faster to keep from lugging it, you get a lot better mpg than keeping it in 5th and revving it.

The trip out to Seaside yesterday, and then back to the g/f's parent's house in MD netted 35 mpg. Woot. Maybe I'm just killing it too much around town and reving to high too often. Dunno. Still, I need to modify my injen to kill the bog or just get that intake that's in your sig. Think he'll sell just the piping for a cheap price? I don't need the rest and my filter is the APEXi universal which is an $80 part.
