All of Team Hashiriya showed up. Three of us raced and one spectator. We also had two other soon to be members there. It was great night and it only sprinkled twice but not for long. Races didn't stop. There is going to be races this next weekend (March 30) and we may all go again. If anyone wants to come and hang out with us, everyone is welcome. If you wanna race, I have to say, it is fun as hell.
yep, I came and watched...though I never ran into you, takeoff.
I'm definitly going to race this sat. gotta get a helmet, anybody know a good place to get one?

I checked in at around 12:30 and had to take off. I got back around 4:30 and race till about 9. Got in 6 runs. I heard you came for a few minutes and then just took off. How long did you hang around?
i showed up at about 12:30 and left at like 4. So we pretty much exactly missed each other. how were your runs?

I ran like $hit for the first few runs and set my dial in to high. Me and Wes ended up racing in eliminations and he misshifted so I raced again. I went up against a honda and beat him but I had went way faster than my dial in. My dial in was 10.20 and my run was 10.02 You are really going to like racing. The most fun I've had w/ my car so far.
I got a helmet today, so I'm ready to go now!
I'm really looking forward to it. :)
so what's the deal with the dial in?
how does that work?

This is how bracket racing works. You run a few times and get a # that is your best which will be your dial in. When eliminations start you will try to get this # (dial in). The closer you get to this # the better your chance of winning. Bracket racing is based on consistency. If you go under your dial in and the other car doesn't you lose. If you both go under the one with the least difference wins. If neither go under the closest to the dial in wins. When eliminations start your light will also go off according to your dial in. If your dial in is higher than the other persons you light will go off earlier. The reason it is set like this is because according to qualcomm if you ran exactly to the dial in you would reach the finish line at the exact same time. I think that covers it all.
gotcha. thanks for the explaination.
how late does it end up going?
did you see this article on drag racing? It's linked from the
racelegal site. Pretty intersting.
