Ok... I know this thing doesn't work for adjusting anything for the ECU. I know the ECU just "learns" over it, eventually overriding it. My question... my settings were way up there... in the +8 range. but if I try to decrease it to all zeros (I want it to be all flat with no modifications) the car stalls and shuts off at 3k rpm. What gives? What would happen if I "Initialized" it, the option that resets it?. Would I have to set it up? I don't want any readings on it and want it flat, but since my settings have been like this for 2 years, maybe to the S-AFC, all the +8's ARE flat... does that make sense to anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

try making the changes in 1 number increments...run it for a while then make another change...

What you do is change all setting of S-AFC to 0 then reset your ECU and you should be fine.

... yeah.. thats what I thought. But when I did this, and turned the car back on, the settings were still there?.. Weird, huh?

.. did this too. But even in 1 increments, the car drives like crap. I don't want to mess anything up. I'll try cool2miketlu's way again. Maybe I had a brain-fart last time. If that doesn't work, then its gonna have to be Smaay's way. Thanks guys.

jsut reset the AFC then? that should put it all back to 0.

my only question is, if you are making it so there is nothing shoing on the AFC then why dont you just remove it all together? why leave it on if its not doing anything?

... cause I had it put into my center console where the empty hatch is so to remove it would leave a big hole there.. lol. No, honestly I could just get another console, but I don't know how to remove it, I didn't install it and I really don't feel like paying someone to uninstall it. I wanted it set to zero cause I'm getting a PFC in the very near future and didn't want the settings to interfere with one another. Am I gonna have to remove the AFC anyway to install the PFC? Because if so, then I might as well check up the cash to uninstall it and start looking for a center console. Oh, and reseting the AFC is the "Initialize" button right? Won't that mess up everything or no? Thanks again... appreciate the replies to my stupid issue.. :) .. lol.

Remove it when you get your PowerFC, use it as an eye candy during this time. I see no reason why it would interfere with anything if every parameter is set at 0, it just become a gauge.
Neways if I were you I would remove that when I get PowerFC just to show people you are not using cheap S-AFC as an management but an PowerFC :)

disconnect all the leads but the speed sensor and the RPM sensor... that way it will still show those values...eye candy, bling bling
