Hey Hey! I'm interested. Long time no see, Dan. How's life? I was hoping you've rode in a Celi w/ the TRD sportivo, so you may give me a comparison between TRD and Tein. I don't really care for adjustability and I don't wanna sacrifice too much of ride quality. Right now I'm kinda leaning toward the Sportivo since it comes with a decent set of goodies. I'm just looking for a solid suspension performance. What you think?

Thats great news to hear actually. I'll have no more worries of having to send off shocks to Japan if any problem arises. Great info liquid.

exactly what i was thinking.
Love my Teins =) Car is a rocket ship around turns now. I have the front set slightly softer than the rear. No understeer at all. I can get the rear to kick out a bit if i slam the throttle in a turn. Lots of fun.

Wow, I hope this makes them cheaper. How much do you guys pay for a kit? Last I knew they were the ONLY producers of a TRUE coilover kit for my car. But VERY expensive. I'd love to have a set to upgrade from the stock Tokico's. They have 120K on them now.

Yup. Although I did read that you can cut a hole in the side panels under the portion that's covered by the tray to be able to access teh adjusters.

It's True, It's true (as Kurt Angle would say.)
It looks like TEIN does have another kit available for ZZT231/230 other than the HA kit. I ordered a catalog and should recieve it shortly. I don't think this new kit has the the helper springs as the HA kit has, but still 16 way adj. But no Pillowball mounts yet.. DAMN.......I'm still looking for them..
I just came back from SEMA, Great show.. I must say that the RSX was the favorite car this year.

I spoke with the new Cali. Tein division today. Being so new, they don't have any distributors, that they know of, established yet. They have a few other things to work on also...1) picking up the phone before it rings 10x 2) starting a warranty for their coilovers. They stated there is no warranty and 3) working on there english...I could barely understand them. I think it's great that they have a new U.S. division, but it appears they have to iron out the kinks. But, I guess that is to be expected. Sorry Tein if I seem harsh.

I spoke with Tein today. I think it's great that they have started a U.S. division, but being so new it's going to take a while to become established. As of today, they stated there are NO warranties on their coilovers, and they are unaware of any distributors. And, you can not order from them direct. I'm aware of SKR, now (thanx), and some other distributors that are importing, but they are not aware. Some other kinks they have to work out are answering the phone before the 10th ring and speaking english more clearly. I could barely understand them. Sorry, Tein, if I sound harsh. I think we are all happy you are in the U.S. now.
