Gas milage

hay guys its me again well i just its been like a week since i got my 02' gt-s 6spd i been doing an astounding 400 miles a tank thats more or less, but thats like crazy to me cuz my friends 00' gt-s auto does only like 250-300 miles a tank. do all your stock cars do that cuz if thats true heck yeah! or does it only do that at first and then go down to 300 after a while well give me the heads up thankz

I'm not really sure, but whatever it is, it beats my mom's 4runner.

I get about 28 mpg city, and 42 mpg highway, so yes with a 14.5 gallon tank, you can get over 400 miles on a tank in a 6 speed GTS. Pretty cool considering the performance you are getting as well.

42mpg! DAMN! How fast do you drive? I get like 32 highway, but I drive really fast.

I don't know what kind gas are you people are pumping, but I am only getting around 19 in City and 25 at highway.

Well, if I drive vary nicely, and never rev over 4000RPM, I can get 22 for city... From what I can see, Celica GTS Auto has pretty sucky gas milage.

My '89 Celica I just had a few months ago averaged in the low 20's for all around driving, and 42 hwy.

I don't know 'cause its brand new, but I haven't got below 26 in the city. I drive "normal" - I gun it a lot, but I don't do formula 1 all the time.

My new GTS manual shouls do better on the highway than my old Celica. It's displacement is smaller, it has a higher overdrive, it weighs less, and the drivetrain is supposed to be more efficient. If any of you are only getting high 20's for highway driving, you may want to get your car checked.

00 auto gts: i get 415 a tank usually. hard driving. injen cai and kazuma exhaust

well if i'm crusing i go about 65-70mph so i think does the trick and i'm all stock so and i dont go over 3200rpm on the city unless the light is yellow ;)

On the highway I'm usually going 80+ and I always fill up at 1/4 tank. When thats all highway miles thats usually after about 315 miles.

DeadOn, what does your tach read when you are going around 65MPH in sixth? I have the early '01 shifter and I am around 3k RPM at 65MPH I think.

i get about 350-370 miles per tank.
