I had my Injen CAI installed about 3 mos. ago and my CEL just recently came on. Not sure if the CEL came on b/c of the CAI though. But, here's how I fixed the problem. My friend works at a shop where they have a computer to scan ECU's. How convenient! The computer said I had an engine misfire in my 2nd cylinder. He tightened all my spark plugs and bye bye CEL. I'm not a mechanic or a car whiz, but the CEL comes on for a reason. Resetting the ECU seems to not be a good solution. I feel much more at ease having had my ECU scanned and the problem fixed...for now. :-)

Same here couple of my cylinders were mis-firing and had the sparks plugs tightened and my cel went away.

gee... i wish id thought of that. My shop replaced my computer and fuel injectors because of the CEL/misfires and now I have a slow car. :(
Has anyone else here had that TSB performed?

All I did was disconnect the negative battery terminal and my CEL went away

Autozone has an OBDII scan took and they'll hook it up and give you the codes for free...just FYI
