why the HELL do you care what color it comes in?

its a performance mod...not a cosmetic mod.
if you want to change the colors, go buy some red colored rubber hoses which connect everything...its all up to you what color you want it to be!

btw they sell those little blue/red/white/whateveryouwant
things at any performance shop.

Hmmm, interesting graph they have on the picture I posted. Where's the lift???

It's been replcaed with what the 2ZZ-GE really needed, torque. The "spike" on the power gragh normally seen on the dyno for the 2nd cam is less pronounced due to larger power band and different engine characteristics due to the supercharger. So now its more smoother.

M SPEC is absolutely right. Lift is still there, but is less noticeable with all that power coming from the s/c. Ever see a dyno of a turboed or s/c'ed GSR or Type R? Same thing happens to their hp curve as well.

Damn, I wish we had a better pic of that dyno.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Looks like VVT-i is doing it's thing there keeping the torque curve pretty flat through the power band.

is it me or dose it look like the blitz s/c comes with the new intake mainfold ?

I don't think its the VVTi keeping the torque curve flat. That's mostly due to the supercharger.

Any reason why they choose to use a short air intake? Probably because of fitment?

atehrani,
Here's my theory about that: imagine how EASY it would be to hydrolock a Celi in the rain with a supercharger sucking air in through a CAI set-up.

i think it also has to do with the fact that there is no real gain to be made from a CAI with forced induction becuase the turbo or s/c just heats up the air anyhow.. and then the intercooler cools it back off..

I saw the engine with the SC installed at Tokyo Auto Salon. I even have video of it. It's gorgeous. The quality of everything is incredible. They had it installed in a Will but no Celica with it installed. Although it fits all corolla based 2ZZ engined cars supposedly. Matric, Celica, Will, etc..

I would kill for that Blitz supercharger kit. However, they've been saying the same thing about "delivering it soon" since I bought my Celica in 99. I don't think they're ever gonna get their sh@t together, so I'm kinda giving up hope. I filled my boost gauge hole with a different gauge. Don't get me wrong- I'd love to have it, and if it hits the states, I'm all over it. But don't hold your breath... Steve

actually im 99% sure it already has hit the States.. just hasnt been released for sale as of yet..

I'm curious to know what sort of price they'll be charging you guys.. hopefully much better on the price they want from us over here in the UK.

I've heard the same thing about testing here, r&d'ing there, sourcing this, tuning that, but I still have lost some of my faith in the company who hasn't delivered after so much hype. Of course, I'll be the first one to come back and tell you how their company rocks when it does come out and I lay down tracks in third... lol... Man I'm a slave to my car. : ) Steve out
