I am posting this because ... well im in the military(Air Force) and i drive in these damn millitary boots (boats). I sometimes get so used to em , that when i switch to my tennis shoes .. or dr martins , i have to get used to them all over again.
Am i the only one like this .... oh by the way i frive best with my DR. Martins.:wiggle: :gap:

I like to drive barefoot myself, but if I had to pick shoes it would be my Oakleys (yes they make shoes too!)

i gotta try barefooted ..... mabe this summer when it starts to get hot ...because if i wear the shoes in summertime all the time , my feet stink lol. Yet another think the military has funked up .
Those military boots mess your feet up:(

those new nike basketball shoes are good ( for driving in not for walking around in, theyre butt ugly imo)
you know the spaceboot looking ones? I know thats not too specific since every goddamn shoe out there looks like you can moonwalk in it. The bottoms are non existant and you can feel everything thru them
plus theyre super light weight.

i would have to say my adidas sl's. have been wearing them for almost a year and they r nice, soft, light, and broken in. i feel most comfortable in those shoes than any of my others...

My Vans. :) Nice thin, flexible soles.

I wore black Timberland boots to school for the past 5 months (had to be somewhat dressy), and I drove like ****. Every shift was somewhat jerkey cause I could barely feel the clutch.

converse all-stars are always nice to drive with...snug on your feet, yet floppy enough for responsive driving

I keep a pair of Black Fleece Slippers in my trunk for long road trips.

They match my pipe;)

Nothing like a good pipe of green on those long road trips.

Haha, this is funny.... all my shoes have about 2 inches of heel on them and it's sometimes hard to feel how fast I'm letting the clutch out.. One day I wore regular tennis shoes and from then on I carry a pair in the back of my car... I need a secret tennis shoe compartment :D

I drive better when tennis shoes, since it's more of a flat heal, then my clunky sandle/dress shoes that I wear.. LoL..

I don't like driving barefoot...

Try a real pair of racing shoes (www.racerwholesale.com). I have some and they are awesome. If I think of it I will be wearing them on road trips. Kind of like supportive slippers.

I hear wrestling shoes are the same fit, only they don't have the fireprrof liners. I suspect they are a little cooler as well.

well your right about wrestling shoes being cooler. i was looking at some racing shoes and they were thicker with the fire proof stuff in them. but for the price the wrewstling shoes were hard to pass up especially for long tripps

I like barefoot (heel-toe and throttle modulation is a lot easier), but I still favor the Nike Windrunners that I've been wearing since March 2000.
