i have a question about a complete ECU swap i live in CA and the smog here is rediculous so i was told the if you put a PFC or any other stand alone managment then you wont be able to pass smog, how true is that???

There is the Hydra unit that is coming out and will be OBD II compliant. That may be the way to go for you. Then again if you get the PFC all you would have to do is keep your stock ECU and swap it out for emissions/smog.

can you tell me what OBD II is. i am sort of a newbie so all the abbreviation i am still learning

On board diagnostics... You can just swap the ECU out when you go to emissions... it
