i think the trial rear looks nice.. but i noticed that ppl who have it always leave the bottom part black and just paint the top part..
now i know that thats how ppl like it.. and thats how your supposed to have it.. but has anyone painted the whole rear before? or would it be one of those things where it would be a disgrace to the trial company if someone did that? im thinkin it would probably look good if it was painted.. but just curious..

actually....when i had mine painted the company forgot to paint the bottom black and i had to take it back and have them redo it. you can see a pic of what it looked like here http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid127/pf5d36d463b748753c3e2a1f3b54823d0/f7ef1c3e.jpg becuase i'm sure imagestation won't let me post it up. it didn't look bad but i definately like it better black at the bottom. the reason everyone paints it black is because that is how trial does it but that doesn't mean you have to. also dragonfrog has his all painted so you can search for some of his pics on here too.

hey, do they usually paint it black, without adding any clear coats so they could avoid a "shiny"black?

redline.. do you have any more pics of your rear when it was all painted red?

i like it both ways.. but i think the only reason i would leave it black would be if i got a cf spoiler to go with it.. but if i was going wingless then i think i would paint it all..

It's painted black mainly to emphasize that the lower portion is a diffuser. Traditionally, diffusers are add on pieces, not built into the bumper, and they always come in black.

yup....it's supposed to look like a seperate piece.

sorry i don't have any more pics...took it back in to be reapinted the next day

redline.. how much did you get the trial kit for? and is the front of the trial kit just a lip?

also the front end is a whole front bumper....definately not a lip
