paint for center console

What type of paint would you guys recommend for painting the center console and where can i buy it at?

Well it depends. You could get Duplicor wheel paint, Duplicolor automotive spray paint, or you could have it professionally done. I would go with the Duplicolor auotmotive spray paint. They have a huge variety of factory colors already mixed and ready to spray. You can find this at your local Wal-Mart, just look in the automotive refinishing section. Get whatever color you want. Next come home remove the center console, scuff lightly, prime, and paint (correctly) with this Duplicolor paint. I would also recommend you clear it but please give the paint a good days worth of drying time before you clear it, that is unless you have access to some heatlamps. Be careful with the clear because it is very thin and very easy to spray to thick. I would recommend practicing this on something you don't care about before attempting it on your console.
