Do they cause less scratches than 100% cottons.

I saw one at walmart and pep boys which cost like 5.99 or so.
What's the difference between these and the ones online which cost $20- $30?
is it just like autoparts supposed 100%cotton which are not true cotton loops?

I think it's the other way around. Don't u think???

Because I've noticed that before, I used to wash my old Celi with sheepskin and after I wash them, I put them inside the washing machine and I noticed that the lil stones and some broken glasses will get stuck in it.

Now, I wash my Celi with washable cloth, it's more cheaper than the sheepskin, u can get them for $3.49 a package of 4 cloth towels.

Sheepskin wash mitts are better than towels because they trap more dirt than towels. That means that less dirt would be rubbing against your paint which causes swirl marks.

ok here's the question though:

Does it matter whether they are different brands?
I saw turtle wax mitts and pepboys and Eurow at walmart both were reasonably cheap, $5.95. But the online ones are more expensive. Do the online ones cause less scratches?

Yes, supposely they better quality sheepskin. Go to clubrsx.com and ask about this because I'm not to sure how much of a difference this will make. Personally I use the Walmart kind, and I'm satisfied.

I recntly purchased one from pep boys.

On mine the feather keeps comming loose.
It only last me like 5 washes.
I wash the mitt with dishwashing soap.

DO NOT USE DISH SOAP on anything that comes in contact with your car's paint!! It will screw up your paint job VERY badly!! When I was young and dumb, I washed an old Honda with a bit of Palmolive. After a few months the paint looked like 10,000 birds had crapped on it simultaneously.

I wasn't talking about washing the car with dish soap. I meant washing the wash mitt with the dish soap

I use Woolite to clean my wash mit, but the car soap does an good job too.

I went to Pep Boys and bought one. I prefer it over a sponge or rag and about them trapping little pieces of glass and stone, it doesn't matter if you make sure you have it 100% clean before you put it on your car.
