i was wondering if you can use the cig lighter light for the power on the indiglos instead of running to the parking lights??

You could; but then they'd be illuminated at all times (during the day too). I'm not sure if that would look good.

Of course, you could put a switch or dimmer between the cig. lighter and gauges; but then you'd had to manually turn them on at night when you need them.

I'd stick with the parking lights.
