Yeah, it's amazing... I actually had a thought. :D

Well, I just got back from an all-you-can-eat seafood lunch which included some snow crabs..... I got to thinking about having a crab feast when it gets a little warmer out. So, what do all you Baltimore ppl think? We can all get together and smash crabs with wooden mallets. :D :D

VA people can come to, so we can show them the right way to eat a crab.

Well, what do you people think???

Lemme know.

Don't hate just because you woudn't know a crab if it came out of the water and pinched your pinky toe. :)

Why didnt I get invite to this lunch? I'm down with eating crabs, although I heard the price for a bushel is going to be crazy high since they are limiting the crabbing in the bay this year.

Maybe I"ll go home to Buffalo and pick up around 200 wings and we can all have real buffalo wings too.

So Liz, your from NY too? I'm from Saratoga, just above Albany. Way too damn cold to live up there anymore. I've been living here in MD for over 6 years now and still haven't gotten used to eating MD crabs. I guess i'll always be a New Yorker at heart :) Give me some Alaskin King Crab legs and I'll eat anyone out of town. I love them!

Damn, we just about have the entire state covered down here. Joe is from Syracuse and I'm from Rochester.

I don't miss driving or shoveling the snow either. But I do wish that we had some to go out and play in though, it's just not winter without the 'white stuff.'

Yeah, i grew up in Buffalo. Been living here for 8 years now. However, I'm a big MD crab fan. I miss good Buffalo wings and I miss the snow. :( I don't mind the cold as long as there is snow on the ground. In fact, I think maryland has colder feeling winters, because they are so damp.

Whatever... you know you are on my "You are automagically invited when I want to do something" list. Besides, it's still a little cold to be having a crab feast. It needs to be nice a hot for a crab feast. hehe... You get the newspaper and I'll bring the mallets. hehehe. :D

Wow... wings and crabs... now we just need a good beer. :)

You ought to go to Alaska to truely experience those! I was there a couple of years ago and I swear they had crab legs as big as my forearm!

Of course... this prolly won't be for a while, as optimum crab feast temperature is like 80. I'll let everyone know when it will be. hehehe

I'm good to go for some crabs amigo. Anyone ever had GARLIC crabs?? Sometimes I think I'm the only one that knows, heh. Back in Florida, there are quite a few places that boil blue crabs in a huge pot with some corn on the cob, potatoes, shirmp and most important, GARLIC! It's oh so good and spicy.

If I go, I guess I'll bring the BEER since I can't bring garlic crabs from FL. Darn! Anyone up for some Amstel Light or what? :chuckles:

Hmmm... sounds interesting but the best way to have crabs is doused with Good Ol' "Old Bay" Can't beat it. :D

Amstel Light!?!?!? Wuss beer!!! :chuckles:
