Well finaly good to meet you all. I met 3 of you. didn't get the chance to meet Roxanne, I saw Duncan didn't say hi though. I did meet Cody, Barry, and Mark.
Mark thanks for the offer to ride with you and film. I would of loved to, but thoughs kids in the Cart doing lap times of 160 secs killed me and i had to leave. THAT WAS BRUTAL!!!
Next auto cross can i ride with one of you? I hate to hold you down but i think it would be a great experience. I won't be able to race untill i pay off my wheels.
So i bet one of you is on the track right now...
What times you all finish with??? Hope you all were in the 60-70secs. Well what you finish with?
Glad to see and meet you guys next time i will meet all of you.
Oh and i saw Roxannes car while i was leaving, very nice :)
well have a good day.

GREAT JOB. Damn running a 70 and thats you best time really makes you have some respect for the guys that were running 57-65s (major money to get that fast i guess) . Some of thoughs cars were fast as crap! How did that red Supra do?
I couldn't stand thoughs damn go carts going 4mph i about flipped out :)
John
So mark u wanna let me take a lap with you next time?? :)

not major money, major seat time and skill.. its mostly driver, not car..
and i couldn't make it today guys, i had to finish stripping paint in my house before i repaint it... turned out to be a much bigger job than i expected...

ya true. But sometimes it seemed as if the car was turning the good time and not the drive. There was a Corvette and he was all over the place spun out even and still managed to get a 66. I know driver skill is what it comes down to but you also have to realize if you put a bad driver in a Ferarri the bad driver will still beat a celica.

me and another episode of bad tires ran a farily bad 71.1 for my best of the day. i wasnt too happy with it and im anxiously awaiting the day i'll have money and can get the azenis's on the 16's and maybe be back in the competetion(cuz i think i used to be good at this stuff). working was also absolutely horrible, i look like a lobster now and my feet still hurt. and yes, those go carts sucked, watching that one girl run numerous 200's was getting so boring. and the red supra did pretty bad, it was blasting its stereo most of the time, got 2 DNF's(i think), but had one really cool looking spin that caused him one of the DNF's. i had a pretty good time though but am sick of having to wait so long to race and then suck due to bad tires. however on the good side of things, our after race cookout was delicious :)

I believe I can make that happen just let me go alone during my last one or two runs I want to run with as little weight as possible although today when i ran alone I ended up locking up my tires so bad that I stalled out (understeer sucks) I got the car back up and running and finshied that run with a 77. something.
And Dan is absolutly correct it is the driver and not the car, The silver celica GT was in pro class his car is stock execpt for the rims and he was turning times of 64 something everytime, I think the slowest lap I saw him turn was a 65 or 66. Someone please correct me if I am wrong he was running with the yellow group.
Sucks that I missed to cook out but my Dad just went out of town and I felt bad leaving my Mom alone all afternoon and night so I thought it would be better to come home maybe next time I will be able to make it, Let me know what's going on this week.

My fastest was a 71.2. I could have done better, but I locked up the brakes and stalled out on my last run. I also took out a bunch of cones in the process. When I get my springs and shocks, it'll be over for Mark.

Oh i realize, i didn't want to ride with you for all your runs. i just wanted to for 1. I know weight is a huge factor and sub boxes and spare tires and crap can and will hold you back. I don't want you to lug me around for 5 runs, i just want to ride for one :) Thanks again.

hey, I was out that yesterday and I'm also burnt. I was going to attach a few pics I took of everybodies celica's but this forum doesn't have an attach option. I was driving a burgany 300zx TT and was working the sign in table when roxanne pulled in. I'll upload the pics later and post them for you guys. You have some nice cars. :applaud:

I actually ran a second faster with a passenger on my last run. Weight distribution (imo) is more important.

My fastest only a second slower than Ken's slowest?!? Hoosiers automatically make you a better driver, lol.

Hi, Justin. You should come over and talk to us next time. Thanks for the compliments. We try to look good. ^_^ I think I saw your Z. I have a soft spot for them. I wanted one for a long time and had a pearl turbo picked out. Next time you see us introduce yourself. I'd love to see some pics too. I am not as burnt as you guys who had to work but I got burnt scraping windows last week and am starting to peel. *yuck* Anyway, I hope it is as nice next event as it was this event.

haha michael...too bad i missed out on that 54 second run, i bet it was great. and on the subject of weight importance, i got that 1st at the tune up day with rox in the car on the fastest lap. so im not sure if it helps much or not, it seems to on some people but others it doesnt. anyways, i should have my tires on by the next race so yes, me and barry will once again show you GT's how its done :). hopefully...i just have to remember how to drive again.

I'll have to talk to Nick and have him tell Barry he's too busy to put his springs and struts on before the 14th.jk I'm hoping mine will be here and on either this weekend or sometime next week. Next auto cross not only the GT-Ss will go down but Mark I'm affraid will be losing to me also.jk I'm still down for going to the dragstrip. Maybe I'll bring the secret weapon and win there too. My bike should be capable of running 10's maybe even high 9's. Notice I didn't say i would be capable of that, but it would still be an unfair advantage over the GT-S.

You'd be suprised just how much fun dragracing is. It's very addicting. My first run in my Celi, I lined up against a black Type R.
I guess he was nervous seeing a Celi GT-S next to him so he redlighted. He ran low 15's all night while the rest of us had mid-low 15's. I think Commerce is a slow track compared to the guys up north. It's still a blast though.
