ok

my 2003 2ZZ came with DBW
not a big problem, the shop made an adapter plate to fit my GT throttle body (cable) onto the 2zz block

now, i am getting the PFC from MWR pretuned for I/E.

because the GT TB is slightly less diam. than the GTS TB, how would i compensate for this with the PFC?

or would i even need to?

the throttle body opening should restrict the airflow and cause it to still be an accurate-enough reading at the mafs?
you should be able to see the end result at the o2 anyways and not be in danger of anything as far as I understand it... maybe someone else has some better info though, but instead of dealing with that, can you have the gt bored to match the gt-s size?

I would at least have the machine shop bore out or taper bore the TB out some if at all possible.

ok, so bore out the GT TB until you can fit the GTS 'flap' in?

well I wouldnt put the GT-S butterfly in. If they are a fgood machine shop they should know how large they can safley enlarge the stock GT TB. They should also be able to fabricate a new butterfly for you as well. If you just taper the TB you wont need to get a new butterfly.

The GT throttle body is way smaller than the GT-S. It's gonna cause some serious restriction on your intake system, even if you bore it out.

It will run very nearly the same as with a GTS TB.

how about the iac..... is that valve the same or is it gonna make idle freak out... you can tune for that with the pfc, right?

I believe you can tune idle with the PFC, so the IAC will be fine, as long as it's clean (tends to get stuck when dirty; oil catch can keeps it clean). The GT and GT-S IACs are different, but I think it's only in the location of the coolant intlets that's different. The gaskets appear to be the same.

Like monkeywrench said it will run fine..the MAFS is before the TB and the piping is stock...you will be fine...

GT TB = 53mm / 2.08"
GT-S TB = approx 63.5mm / 2.5"

Also, I don't believe you can 'safely' bore the 1zz throttle body
