Is 02 gts slower then 00 or 01?

What's going on guys? I was just wondering if the 02 gts is
slower than the other models (00 and 01), B/C i'm geting a new car soon either a rsx type-s or a celica and i was just wondering if
a 02 celica would beat a type-s or not?

this has been discussed over and over again..becuase of the lower rev limiter the 02 model appears to be slower then the 00-01

OH BTW test drive em both .... i think the celica is more fun to drive than the RSX type S ... once you feel the lift technology ... you'll be convinced. :D

yah it just seems slower to me i guess.....cuz i used to have an 00......but i have beaten and rsx-s...and a couple of other cars in my 02

I just read the Sport Compact Car magazine, where they tested the 1/4 mile run, which hit 15.8 for the 2002 models. I don't know if they power shift or not, but it seems the 2002 model is mucher slower than the previous model (00-01) which hit 14.9.

Also, saw the MR2 spyder in the magazine, which hit 15.1. This really caught to my surprise...
