Okay i am in need of quick answers cuz i dont want to be driving my car with the noises its making.... I have hypermotive front adjustable endlinks with hotchkis comp sway bars on stock suspension.... my endlinks are set about the length of the stockers, just a tad longer. When i drive regularly there are no noises... but when i turn over uneven pavement where one wheel is lifted up more than the other a loud pop is heard/felt... i can see the contact area where the sway bar hits part of the car.... rite where the sways enter the whell well... What r u guys setting ur length of the endlinks... should i shorten or lengthen it.? basically what should i do cuz its scaring the hell out of me... Please help me out ASAP cuz its damagin my sway bar (tore off paint and hitting the metal) and suspension... thanx in advance

You need to shorten the endlinks to the point that they don't put any resistance on the sway bar when the car is at rest. You won't damage the sway bar, but the endlinks may break because of the extra stress.

i just drove my car during lunch time and now it is clunking/popping over every lil inperfection in the road. its so loud people turn their heads to look... what is wrong with my car?? is it the endlinks... sway bar... or strut....? ive read that i should try tightening my strut bolt up top.... how do i do that? i feel very unsafe with my car in its current state....

whenii put my rear sway bar on it was fine for a few days.. then i was drivning home and heard all this noise.. then i shlowed down to like 5 mph and it was sooo loud, over every bump. .. .

it turned out the endlink nuts weren't tighten'd tight enough.. double check that

what exactly is the purpose for the hypermotive adjustable endlinks?

most people have just the sways, so why would I want to buy the adjustable endlinks?

Exact same thing was happening with my TRD sways on the drivers side in the front. My swaybar is slightly worn from rubbing the metal support on the car. Took me months to figure out it wasn't the bushings which I was lubing once every month! I got the hypermotive endlinks and made them slightly shorter than stock and that seems to give me more clearance. The bar is still really close to the metal but I haven't heard it make a noise since.

Oh I also read the bars were supposed to be parallel to the ground. I adjusted my endlinks while the car was on the ground. Turn the wheel all the way so you can reach in and turn the rod. I suppose you could put the car on stands and remove the tires and shorten each endlink the same amount. You would have to put the tire back on and lower the car to check the adjustment. Repeat as necessary. I think it's easier to squeeze your arm in and adjust it on the ground.
