Well here's a before and after of the PFC, didn't wanna post the pic up yet till I actually had it tuned. But here's proof why the PFC is the best way to go!!!
POWER FC vs. STOCK ECU

Not bad for mustang dyno numbers...so in a couple weeks I'll get her on a dynojet to see the difference.

hmmm... Is your before dyno I/H/E?? cause in your sig you have it listed that you have I/H/E.
if your before dyno is stock then was the 22 hp really an I/H/E + PFC combined gain???
just curious cause it's not too clear to me. thanx

had the i/h/e on without the pfc. as for why so low, i'm clueless. i'm guessing the car didn't like the stock ecu all too much. but u also gotta remember that it's a mustang dyno. so figures are lower than dynojet. i'll get on a dynojet probably in a couple weeks. just to see how much of a difference the mustang dyno figures are from dynojet.

why do they list the weight of your car as being 2700lbs? Is that how much your car really weighs? Thats pretty heavy for a celica and if that is put into the dyno, it will not give correct data.

he also doesnt have a 2.0L engine lol as far as I know those numbers arent used by the dyno.

I dyno on mustang dynos frequently lately so I know exactly what you mean. it should be about 4-6% lower then a dyno jet.
on the mustang dyno my car put down 164 whp with I/E/ pfc and dying fuel pump. fixed that and put down 170 with I/E stock ecu. havent retuned my pfc yet but I'm certain 180+ will be np. they can make an estimate on the dyno to show closer to dynojet numbers but I havent bothered to do that yet. gonna just take it to one and see the diff.
if you have the 1st or 2nd gen trial header have you dynoed to see if the stock header performed better? lots of other people have been dynoing similar to you with that earlier gen trial header. would be interesting to know the outcome ;)
www.janddperformance.com is where I been goin to. very good place IMO. they even work with the crack head hours we need sometimes. :)

how can u find out whether or not your fuel pump is going? also, have u considered trying mwr's fuel pumps and injectors? since the pfc can control that, will we see benifits out of it? just wondering since i was thinking bout changing my fuel pump and injectors soon.

well I ran mine on the dyno and not only got a huge loss in power I also noticed my average A/F was about 17:1 and randomly spiked up to mid 20's:1
even tuning the power fc to 12.5:1 I still got spikes over 17. add to that the weird noises it started making, it wasnt too hard to guess it was dying. lol

:AF: Good thing you caught that. Thats enough to make your motor go boom.
Usually when the fuel pump is going to give up you will here it whining when you put the ignition to ON.

wow those are some nice torque gains. did you play with the VVTI at all?

just toyed around with the timing and the fuel map. i wish i knew how to tune the VVTI, but i'll do some more research and tune later on.

A'PEXi Power FC. It is a full stand alone reprogrammable ECU. Runs about $1000, and needs 1 of 2 different programming tools. The FC-Datalogit which is a hardware/software package for use with a laptop ($360). Or the A'PEXi FC Commander, a handheld devide to program the PFC ($350). Next time to a search, there is tons of info on this.
