anyone go (Tampa that is)? starting grad school there next week, wondering if anyone is around? of course, I'm only taking 1-2 classes (havent decided yet) and theyll be at night...guess i should buy some wheel locks...spent all day yesterday walking around trying to find out something and ended up w/ nothing. didnt think the campus is as large as it is. it only takes about 15 min. to walk FL Tech from end to end. not the case here. should have driven.

engineering building(s) everytime i go to that campus, there seems to be another one...apparently, ill be parking in the lot near all the distruction. only have class wed. night though. but im going to try to get involved w/ intramurals, etc. again. and if i have to pay all these damn fees, i guess ill go to some games too. dont have my sorority here, so i dont think ill get too into the greek stuff.

Im probably going to be playing intramural soccer again. What other games are there? Also the Rec room has a great facility for working out, you might even wanna join some of the yoga or dance classes around. Engineering, yuck thats where i have calc nxt semester. first day, no parking i had to park on the grass nxt to the building. Im having night classes as well. 7:30 pm. i forget what days though. what time is your class(es)

I have a membership to golds; closer to work; i live in st. pete so pretty much, for this semester at least, til i move to tampa in jan, i think ill only be going to campus for class/studying and perhaps intramurals or something if theyre interesting enough. i already put 50 mi/day on the car...not too much will get me to drive over there additionally...

so i learned today, that no matter what school you go to, they cant give you a straight answer. i only had three things to do today, and it took 4 hours. 1st. went to get my id. apparently, they only take cash or check. no credit cards. since i dont carry cash, had to go back to my car to get my check book. 2nd. went to pay tuition. that was a mess, but i can do it online later. 3rd. went to get a parking pass. went to the visitors area, since thats where you get a temp. pass and they have all the pricing etc on a sign in there, i figured i could get one there. so, you dont get it there, you have to go back across campus and buy it from the police station. great. at least the line was short when i got there. so, 4 hours later, i accomplished 2 out of 3 things, still dont have a book, and had to use 4 vac. hours at work. horay! school is here again!

ha...i think we forgot about you for a minute...new tampa, right? well, im not too good w/ that area, but tampa is not a hard place to learn to get around in. (i lived in Orlando for a year, got lost driving around the block) anyway, good luck w/ the move. let us know when you get into town; maybe we can organize a "mini meet" for the tampa folk, since i havent met any of these people either!

you mean cody told you. and i got kicked out for the total of 1 day. they made a mistake with my summer grades, thought i didnt have the require courses gave me the boot, i went there thursday, bitched them out, and got back in by friday. so today i got class at 3:50 w00hooo not.

and treeh8r, thats USF for you. (thursday when i bitched them out i was at the office of the registar for close to 5 hours.)

sweet. i hit a log the other day on 75, and cracked the drivers side corner of the front end (if you look close, you can see my "repair"); new aftermarket front end is like $219...i went to the dealership to get a cost to have it painted and installed. he wants $200 to paint it, and they wont install it. so then i have to find someone else to install it, at what ever cost they want...but if i could get it all done at one place thatd be cool.

what about springs, etc? I have an interest in dropping it, (not too much) but know NOTHING about my suspension; dont want to touch it cause i dont want to break anything. oh, also, rims/tires; do you guys order/install them? thinking about getting 17"s, but again, dont want to break anything...

so i graduate, and now u guys decide to go to usf, wish i was there, if i was there i could get us the hook up at some local bars, clubs, etc, i really miss tampa, west palm is so expensive, drinks are so overpriced, kind of want the college life back,

probably dont, but theyre not going to tell me that cause they want my $$$, but i figure if im on campus on a weekend, or a game or something rediculous, i dont need my car ticketed. (since USF has "real" police; at FL Tech, they were rent-a-cops, if you never registered your car w/ the school, theyd never find out who you were. of course, if you parked in the same area all the time, theyd figure it out and tow you while you were in class!) parking was ok last week, but im not trying to get a "good" spot by the buildings anyway. i park as far from everyone else as is humanly possible, i can always use the exercise.
