:confused:

I installed the pre-programmed pfc (i/h/e) from MWR.

Does this required more tuning?

And by who in the 209 area?

Matt, (MWR) help?

To optimize the PFC for your car, you need to tune it. If you are using the MWR, your car will run and you should see some gains w/o having to tune it.

Since you live in CA, there should be tuners you can go to that are familiar with the PFC.

yeah it will run and you will have decent mid range and low end gains. but your top end will more then likely be equal to stock.

theres I beleive 2 apexi tuners in ca. one in nor cal and one in socal. you dont wanna go to the one in socal. (XS engineering)

I think micron rice knows a lot more about the one up north so you may want to ask him. or check out apexis website and it lists them all.

upper power wont really chance much with the premade maps. the biggest gains should be in the midrange where you should see a huge difference. (unless theyve changed the maps)

Low=Slight gain

Mid==Very Noticeable gain

High==Can't really notice the diff. I'm somewhat disappointed. Because this is my primary objective. To have high gain, but overall, the money is not wasted.

I have checkout pfc tuner here in cali and I have a few ppl can tune it. Thanks to all the replies/info.

gotta remember that this is a "base map" after all. it's by no means meant to give you the best gains possible. it is however very good at its intended use since it gives you a great starting platform and saves you hours of dyno time :)
