I heard the PFC will have to learn idle for your car but thought it was just a few days. After running for the first 15 min or so when I let off the gas it idles way down, makes that CAI whoosh sound and does it 3 times then idles at about 1,000 rpm. Seems like after the first 15 min of driving it just does it once after letting off the gas. Is this what all PFC's do? I didn't have any idle prolem with the stock ECU. During a recent problem I went ahead and shot some Gumout intake cleaner into the IAC opening a few times but didn't seem to make any difference.

manual says 10min no load (stereo, ac, defroster), then 10 min just ac, then 10 min ac off, with defroster on.

^^ wow nice did you read the japanese or is there an english version out there?

Does the PFC do any other kind of learning or adjustment to variables like temperature?

unless you can read Japanese its worthless to you. There isnt a whole lot of information you really need to know about the PFC. I know enough Japanese to read the manual, and its really nothing special.

If I didnt let the pfc learn the idle, Can I just unplug the batterry and do the learning process? (10min no load (stereo, ac, defroster), then 10 min just ac, then 10 min ac off, with defroster on)

you would want to unpolug the battery and unplug the PFC from the car.

or just unplug the pfc from the car. I've never reset the battery.

Or just pull 1 fuse so you do not have to open ECU compartment.

It is blue colored, if looking at fuse box from drivers side fender it is the bottom row 2nd or 3rd from the right.

So did I get this right, you have to let the car idle for a total of 30 min and use those settings for 10 min each and that fixes the idle problem I have?
