I talked to nick today. He said to give you his number and you can call him and make whatever arrangements you need to. It sounds like he sounds like he would prefer to install them for us since he's not really making any money off of the parts. I'm not really sure but he's is probably making a little offf the parts, but for what it would cost to get the kit from West Covina shipped and all he'll get them and install them. If he installs mine I'm still going to help him and maybe talk him into letting me do most of the work for the experience. Well anyway his number is 770-339-8253. He said to leave a message if he doesn't answer and he'll call you back. Later man

Hey Jamie that's the number for Nick so if you want him to install your springs there you go,

Everyone I would definitly recomend having Nick do your springs he knows what he is doing, He already has experience with the 7th gen Celica's (mine being his first) He did a great job and I could imagine how long it would take without the air gun.

yours was the first he did the springs on, but he said when he worked at Atlanta Toyota he rebuilt blown GT-S motors all the time and did other stuff on them.

Yea Nick is a friend of Duncans (CBR600DRM) he is a toyota certified Mechanic and he has in's with TRD he got me my springs for 167 he also charged me 100 or 125 to install them I ended up giving him a little more because it took longer then he expected. He does it from his garage, he has all the tools needed there, infact he has one heck of a tool collection. If you want to get them I recommend giving him a call he did a great job on mine.

Nick said he was going to order my springs and shocks today. He's also going to check on a price for the TRD sway bars.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably get him to install mine too. Barry, when are you supposed to get your in and installed? Maybe we can go the same day and get a group discount. :) I can't wait to get mine in. I'm still waiting on shipping. Should be in next week though. Later, Jamie

I'm interested in the sway bars too Barry. If his price on the TRDs is cheaper than the WC price for ?Hotchkis then I'll probably get them. I'll probably get the TRD rear strut brace too eventually. I am going to try to not spend any money for the next month or so so I can get some wheels and better tires.

Oh this is great...

guys do me a favor and keep on his good side for a month or 2 so he will give me the same deal :)

I have a School Play that i'm working on (stage tech i guess) in May so that will bring in a good 400 or 500 bucks so that will be enough to pay off my parenst for the rest of my wheels and then i can drop my car. Some of you noticed that my car is a Monster truck.

Well have a good night

I talked to Nick again, we're going to meet up somewhere so I can pay him. Our springs and shocks will be here tommorow. For $550 we get springs, shocks, swaybars, polyurethane bushings and one other thing that I can't remember (strut mounts?). That is one hell of a deal. Then it's $175-200 for the install.
I need to ask him how much for the TRD brake kit.

Yeah Barry, he called me today and told me he found out it came with all that extra stuff. That is sweet as hell! It comes with polyurethane strut mounts too. Have you seen this months Super Street mag? It has the install guide for the TRD big brake kit. Those calipers are trick as hell. They have most of the features that our AP racing brakes on the Panoz have. You can change the pads without taking the caliper off. There is just a little door that swings open and the pads slide out. They also have a nice bleeder valve set up. So have you set up a day for nick to install your stuff? I was thinking friday night or saturday morning if he can do it.

He was supposed to call me tonight, so that we could meet up, but he hasn't called yet. I'll probably talk to him tommorow. I would like to get it done sometime this weekend.

did he say to you if the polurethane bushings were for the control arms and all that? If so that will be a big job I think. This set up should be nice and stiff though. I'm looking forward to getting mine on.

The bushings are for the swaybars.

I hope the stuff comes tomorrow. I'm anxious to see exactly what we are getting. I wonder if the sway bars are TRP Japan also or if they are the sportivo ones. Either will be fine, I'm just curious because I haven't seen the kit like that anywhere else yet. If the stuff comes and you here from Nick before I do give me a call. Later man.
