My window broke...WTF

Go claim ICBC, and let them take care of things.
And it should take no longer then a day for repairs, but thats if the shop have the glass.

btw, I live in Vancouver too.

same crap happen to me but the baster also stole my stereo... The window place I went to took one day. They had the glass in another sho, which brought it down that day. Cost me$280 for the window and install. Shouldn't take more than a day

dealer doesn't replace windows, they just send the car out to get it done somewhere else.

but like I said, the every first thing you do is claim ICBC, so you just pay $100 for deductable. Then they will send you a list of repair shops in your perfer area. Then you pick one that you like or go to a shop of your choice, and get it fix. :-)

but you should go to a shop that is ICBC approved, because
a.) they have better service
b.) they will take care all the paper work for you... all the work you have to do is, bring your car in and pick it up later.
c.) they won't BS you and try to rip you off
d.) all work have ICBC warranty
e.) free courtesy car

Any ICBC approved shop will do a good job on your car.

and yea, I have no idea what is going on with the Richmond cop thing. All I can say is avoid driving in Richmond at night. and If you do, just drive slow and don't do anything stupid.

And as far as I know, anything that is not stock on your car will get you a nice fat ticket in Richmond. Even having your window tint.
