View Full Version : Test drove a Solara yesterday...

They didn't have the 5 spd v6 of course, but I drove the auto v6.. nice acceleration even for the auto.... and that car moves so smooth!! I've had an obsession with these lately... hmmmmmm.. 5 spd v6 and slap that TRD S/C on it..... hmmmmm. :D

Maybe... but I'm really not into used cars... I don't have money to throw around at project vehicles.. nor the space for them. Actually, I'm trying to get my G/F to get it, cause she needs a new car... then I can toy with it :D

You have seen the light. Go with the 5speed SE version if you want speed. The auto is nice for cruising aroud town but not as fast as the 5speed for obvious reasons. The only option you can not get in the SE is climate control. That only comes on the SLE version and SLE's only come in auto.

it's the same as the auto GTS vs. 5-speed GT

I just wished they changed the interior of the solara......no offense to the camry peeps, but I dont like the "camry-ish" interior...
