Mmmm...car's lookin good

I spent over three hours Sunday on my car. Woke up early to wash it. Then I polished the paint with Turtle Wax Swirl and Scratch Remover. To finish it off I put a coat of Eagle One Wet Look on it. Man it looks so good. Like the day I bought it. Well, except for a couple paint chips in the hood. I'm glad I didn't go to work today cause it's still in the garage, nice and clean.
I know stupid topic but I thought I'd share. :)

that pic looks good. i wish mine would actually stay clean but this rain today mixed with the pollen was horrible on it. plus i have my share of chips/dings (especially on the hood so i'm anxiously awaiting that CF hood...only a few more days...hopefully my car will be back from the shop by then though).

thanks for the compliment. Yeah, i hate this time of year with all the pollen. I'm off work for the rest of the week because my wife's grandmother died so I have bereavement leave plus my job is closed friday for inventory anyway. I didn't know your car was in the shop. What's wrong?

sorry to hear about your grandmother. and yea, my cars going in tomorrow, it's had quite an array of strange sounds/action lately. first, i can't even downshift into 4th anymore without a really loud grind and jolting action so it looks like the syncros might be out on it. it also makes a loud grinding noise whenever i let off the gas kinda fast in 1st or 2nd at higher rpms with the clutch out (kinda hard to explain exactly when it happens, but it does it a good bit now and sounds really bad). and last, it grinds going into and while moving in reverse. so it's having its share of problems at only 27k miles which really pisses me off but oh well, i'll live with it. i just hope so much that they dont try to give me the wider 2002 shift gates or i will not be a happy person. hopefully it will all go well tomorrow though...

that sucks about your car cody! i didn't hear that it was going in the shop. as far as keeping the car clean and stuff, i've heard so much good stuff about zainos it's hard to deny them. www.zainobros.com is the place i think. the crap's pricey, but there isn't any residue like wax and the shine lasts for a claimed 6 months:AF: anyways, i haven't heard a bad thing said about it. i need to clean that pollen crap off my car.

sorry about all your tranny probs. I have 3 things to take mine back for but have been lazy about it. 1-buzzing pass. door panel 2-shifter sqeaking again 3-belt tensioner again. Oh yeah. Toyota told me that they'd repaint my front bumper again but I havent made an appt. yet. Good luck tomorrow. I'm suprised that they're not giving you a rental for warranty work. I've always gotten one if the keep the car for more than a day.

yea, i kinda wish i could talk them out of a new mr2 or something but my dad's letting me use his 2001 miata for the rest of the week which is pretty fun, especailly if the weather is nice. i just got my belt tensioner done a couple of weeks ago and it went well, now i'm just doing all this tomorrow. i'll let everyone know how it goes after i find out everything.

The rental they will only give you if you are over 21 it really sucks when I had my Volvo they always gave me a rental oh well no big deal for me I only have a little over 3 months to go
