How do these mods affect your gas mileage?
Want to go down this route but have a long commute everyday. Filling up every other day wont cut it. Thanks

Theorically it should increase your gas milage because it increases you engine efficiency.
But in real life its a different story. People are tend to drive more aggressive and shift at a higher RPM when they have exhaust and intake - because it makes it more fun! and gas milage suffers because you drive more aggressive.
It all depends on how you drive.

hm..so if we dont change gears at a higher rpm.. we should save gas!

also amounts of throttle affect gas mileage, and whether or not you keep you foot constant on the gas or you vary it (keeping it constant saves u gas).

With the TRD exhaust installed, I was averaging 28.5 mpg on the Colorado 91 octane winter formulation (ethanol mix). After installing the Blitz SUS, the first two tanks yielded just under 30 mpg.
Seems like too good to be true. Both numbers are for a mixture of city and highway driving.

ha. get a kazuma exhaust and you will really save gas by trying to keep the rpms low to keep it quiet.

Yeah I rev my car a lot and the gas mileage is not as good as when I drive calm. The higher the rpm you shift at, the less mileage you get. Depends on what your priorities are.

Ya i had to put my car back in plain auto mode because when i shifted, I did it around 7,000 all the time. Well after gas went up i had to save gas.
