got rear ended!

why can't people just look where they are going?! that's all i ask really it is. I was just leaving my neighborhood and I was stopped at the stop sign pulled up a tad and bang explorer in the rear end. I'll post pics later when i find my digi cam.

Granted his insurance will be buying me a bumper and such but still the hassle of taking the car in and such sucks.

if it isnt too bad or anything.. just get a kit... saves u time and paper work..if its really that bad.. fudge it.. go sue! =)

same exact thing happened to me Nov 2000.....why is it always an Explorer....

You'll have to replace the styrofoam too...$15 each (2 pieces in the rear bumper).

when i took my TEST DRIVE in an automatic GTS (to make the decision if i really wanted a 6 speed)
i got rear ended.
at a stoplight. lady didnt see me...she "forgot to renew her insurance"
cops took her away.

i decided that GTS automatics were cursed (and it was white too)
so when the time came to get my real one, i went to another dealership and passed down an awesome offer on a white 6 speed for my blue 6 speed.

its been true love ever since and ive been pretty much accident free besides hitting some branches in my driveway from time to time.

good luck gettin it fixed. get a cool rear bumper if ya want :)

I know what you mean..... I got rearended twice last year in September and in December...... The ****ty thing was the accident in December Killed my Veilside bumper and I was rearended by another 7th gen Celica in the Celica Club here.

hey man I own a white gts sport shift!!!! and I got hit too, not by an suv but by it's wheeel, for some weird reason it's driver side wheel just fel off and smashed my driver side, so i ended up getting everything new and paid for, including a cf hood and aapr wing :D
