is it worth getting line out converters, or are they garbage? have a JL 300/4 running my speakers now and my new HU has no RCAs.

LOC = Line Output Convertor.

Some LOC's are good, others suck. I know the David Navone LOC's are highly recommended, and pretty cheap too.

It's listed under the adapters, I think. There are a few different models, each doing different things.

Now, I don't recommend LOC's unless you HAVE to use them.

i have an eclipse avx2494 and every other HU ive purchased has had atleast one set of RCAs. so, i need atleast 2 sets to run the speakers off the amp. now, is it worth the hassle, or should i just ditch the amp?

Ok, I just looked it up and can see why you are happy with it :D but I still find it weird that Eclipse didn't put pre-outs on that thing.

ok, well... i need the amp. sitting in the garage the CD volume was decent and DVDs were great. but on my way to work today, i just miss the AMPED sound. so i think im going to try the LOC...

how would i go about installing one... any pointers? any info would be great!
