Hello Everybody

Just picked up a White 2000 GT Auto w/4k three months ago. I have put about 6k on it now and I am looking to add some lost cost mods. I do not want to void the Toyota Certified Warranty (and before everybody gets on me for buying an auto, I have 1.25 hours commute on the DC beltway each way, most days i never get above 15mph).
1. First for air, should I do K&N or TRD airfilter, is there a justifiable difference between the two.
2. Second question, within the last three or four days my celica makes a strange knocking sound while idling in GEAR. This is my first import so I really do not what it could be? I plan on taking it to the dealer soon but I have been working a lot of hours as of late. The service shop always seems to be closed.
3. IF anybody ever has a question about car audio or security let me know. If I can't answer it, my friend can who is a MECP certified Master Installer

Thanks
Tony

<ol><li>"Performance" Air filters don't increase power (it is a bunch of hype), they simply allow you to clean the filter, instead of replacing it with a new one.</li><li>I don't know</li><li>Don't have any car audio questions, and I doubt I ever will (I more of a engine noise fanatic, myself ;))</li></ol>And about the automatic being easier to drive in traffic, it can't be much easier because the manual is already pretty damn easy, with a progressive and smooth clutch pickup. Of course, almost all the manual driving I've ever done has been on the Celica, so my opinion may be a bit skewed :D. Of course, everybody has to decide for themselves whether they want a manual or not.
