I'm looking for a good price per dollar application. Input is welcome.

A lot of members of this board are satisfied with Kumho's. They are relatively inexpensive.

But the way Redline described his experiences with Kumhos scared me away from them.

I love my Kumhos tires. I had them on my 16's and now on my 17's. I never had any problems with them. If you check out www.tires.com They are having free shipping on all their tires. So check it out.
Good Luck,
Dan:)

i just got new tire install'd (kumho supra 712's). for the 15mins i have driven on them, there nice. better than my yoko's (stock tire) cause they were bald in the center, and made driving on the interstate and headache. so i would say kuhmo also, got them for a little over $70 and peice, not bad of a zr rated tire!!!

btw what happen to redline? i didnt catch that story...

Spend the bucks and get some SO-3s or Pilot Sports. i would recommend PZeros also, but something always goes wrong with Pirellis, internally.

the celica is arguably the best hadling front-driver out there, this is not the place to save money.

Oh, and RE730s are noisy, nasty, and have little feel.

I just got 4 stock size S-03's from the Tire Rack for $138 each. These tires are simply awesome! I know they're a little more than $100 each, but well worth it if you've got to have great handling.
