If anyone could email or fax me copies of envoices for warrantied misshifts that would be fantastic! i have a 00 gt-s that i baught in 99 and the dreaded finally happened. i would appreciate any help! thanks guys!

i dont have a scanner, but when i misshifted i bent all the exhaust vavles, fouled all the plugs and bent a clutch spring. All was warranteed and i got a loaner 2001 camry for free. Just play dumb, it usually works.

Go play dumb. It ruins your valves, plugs and etc. The dealer should replace them for you. Dealers should know that there is a problem with GT-S tranny.

a word of advice... we found out our local Toyota dealers have spies who read this board. When my friend misshifted, he tried to play dumb and the warranty reps plopped a pile of printed out threads from this forum of him explaining what had happened, and a history of threads of us talking about racing at our local track in the Hawaii Forum. "Weren't racing huh?"

If you wanna play it dumb, I'd advise keeping it on the DL around here.
