Just wondering how difficult this is to install. Compare it say to a CAI or an exhaust install.

heh. i hope you are talking about a lower front strut bar, because if you can't install the upper in less than 10 minutes without a problem, stop right now. all you do is remove about 10 bolts, place the bar on and replace the bolts.

On a scale of 1 (easiest) to 10 (hardest), a front strut bar is a 0. :gap: Just 6 easily accessible nuts on top of the struts. Just remove them, put the bar on the bolts, and reinstall the nuts. A torque wrench might help (specific torque is about 30ft-lbs), since overtightening the nuts may snap the bolts, but that's if you reaaaally tighten them hard. Also, make sure the car is on level ground and the wheels are pointing straight forward.

Don't install a jack under the hood either...they tend to do crazy things...:p:

Is there anything in the engine bay (like the battery) that gets in the way when istalling the strut bar?

the battery tiedown.

I know I could find this on my own if I spent enough time looking, but do most of the strut bars come with new battery tie downs, or are there other aftermarket tie downs available that work with strut bars?
