My Alpine amp is giving me an E-3 message (something about excessive current) how do I go about fixing this? Thanks for your help ahead of time

What model amp, what subs, and how are they wired? I'm guessing that the impedance load is too low, and that's why you are getting that error message.

running to hot , turn the gain down on the amp

my trunk was packed full because i just moved across the country... after i unpacked my trunk, it is running fine now. thanks for the help Curt and IScrewedUp
