checkout this link regarding some of the most popular air filters on the market. Not so good review of Bltz air filter. I've been told the same thing about the Blitz air filter from many local speed shops. Read it and you'll find out what I mean.

first off that is not the blitz LM since LM = last modified and its a revised version of the one tested.
interestingly i read the opposite things... one of the best filters for air resistance. its usually used on cars over 500ps.

I don't disagree with your point:
They are the least resrictive air filter on the market, and that the are one of the best sounding as well.
I have couple of friends with 550Hp+ R33 Skyline GTR's with them.
But lets remember that a number of 500HP+ cars in Japan don't even use airfilters, but just wire mesh when on the 1/4 mile.. That sums up thier caution/attitude towards air filtration. Hence the copmpromise in the Blitz disgn.
The Blitz air filter design is comprmised in the fact it does'nt filter (trap) dust ect that well, but provides good flow of air into the engine.
I've seen goood cfm claims on the product, oh well hopefully they fixed those problems with the LM version as you say.
