just bought a GT about a month ago

i just bought my celica about a month ago, it is a 2001 celica GT 5speed. i wanted to get a gt-s but i dont pay for insurace so it wasnt really my choice, i use to own an integra GS-R and i went to a lower HP car but thats ok because my integra was stolen. the reason why i wanted a celica was because of the looks, and yes it looks very nice. last week i went to a local drag strip and tested out the car STOCK and i was in the high 15s (15.8) to be exact, i have my slip somewhere but i cant find it, ill be sure to post the details later but yeh im a new member to this site now.

congrats bro, not a bad time either. you can't go wrong with a CELICA i own a 02' GT with I/H/E its pretty quick and alot of fun to drive. on the other hand the GT-s is where the power is at, but overall the celica is one hell of a car:burnout: :thumbup:

Congrats on the GT pickup! :thumbup: Also pretty good time for a stock GT. Good to see there are people out there who still appreciate the apperance of the Celica regardless of how low it's horsepower is. :)

haha my integra wasnt sold, it was STOLEN, STUPID ****ING HONDAS, seriously, im tired of getting my **** stolen..hondas are to easy to get into. but yeh overall im happy with my celica

if your celica GT is an auto...sucks for you but if you drive a 5spd, it can be a mid to high 15 second car, i broke into the 15's which i am very proud of. other then the speed, the car looks great and handles great.
