Do I Have To Sell My Exhaust?

Hi all i have what might be a dumb question but here goes....I have TRD standard exhaust and im looking to buy a body kit in the near future....in the very near future and well someone told me i should have purchased the TRD extended exhaust, he said i would have to sell my standard exhaust and buy an extended exhaust in order to get a body kit, is this true?

Also is there any body kits that dont stick out more then factory bumper?

You can have a bodykit with the standard exhaust but the tip would be hiding under the rear valence so people can't see the tip. Just go to a muffler shop and have them extend it. Every shop is different so I don't know the exactly price but I've heard that they usually do it for like $40-$50.

i think it would be fine without the extended.
the action package people have the stock exhaust on and it doesn't clear the rear valence and it doesn't burn it.

The only reason you would have to buy the extended is for cosmetic purposes. Don't buy one if you don't want to. If the appearance factor is a big deal to you, then go to a muffler shop and have them extend the tip.

keep the trd tip, have it extended... the shop did mine for $5.... i tried to give him $10 but he wouldnt take it cause it was so easy..

A friend of mine just had his WW kit installed with the standard TRD exhaust. It actually looks fine, the tip hardly sticks in past the valence at all, and he has had no problems thus far with burning the kit.
