does insurance cover

aftermarket parts. the reason i ask is cause my CF hood got messed up in the accident and was wondering if insurance will cover it? not mine but the other persons insurance?

when i got my insurance.. they asked me if it was stock..and they said that they wouldn't cover my aftermarket crap..unless u pay another fee..

I am waiting to get my car back and I had aftermarket parts on it. And my car is covered. I hope to get her back next week I miss her.

mine covers it as long as you have your receipt....because they are aftermarket they cant "estimate" their price so what you paid is what shows on the repair estimate....

dude, when I got hit, teh guy's insurance company offered to pay everything, even my stickers, he said whatever parts that were aftermarket thye were gonna pay for it and htey did, 35 dollars for a carbon fiber sticker :D

i always get hit on my bumpers. just little fenderbenders. stupid people. this lady swerved off the freeway and crosssed 3 lanes just to sideswipe me. wat an idiot lady!!!!
