I am trying to purchase a stock hood from someone but he lives in excess of 10hrs away from me. How heavy is a stock hood and how could we ship it to ny from illonois? Will ups take it? also any ideas on how much it would cost?

stock hood is approx 28lbs but becuase of the dimensions of it shipping is very expensive.. i believe fed-ex is the cheapest way..

Fed Ex won't ship hoods... the boxes are too big.

Try a local freight service, a trucking company would be best...
