my GT -> GT-S conversion is FINALLY done. i just want to see how the gearing differs with my 5spd vs. the stock 6spd

I think it is something like 45, 65, 90, 120, 135

it'll depend on your wheels and redline too.
do you have the GTS engine now as well? what sized wheels?

i believe its like 43, 65, 90, 115, 142, dunno what 6th goes to.

true about the redline, but wheel size will change your true speed at rpm but not the speed indicated by the speedometer.

yes, i have a 2zz engine
18" wheels
8600 rpm redline

On a UK spec with 17inch wheels and 8400 redline they are

1st - 42
2nd - 65
3rd - 90
4th - 115
5th - 145
6th - 165 (Only managed 155 but thats what i worked out)

Sorry that hasn't come out well. It's just a formula to work it all out. Depends on wheel diameter, gear ratio & rpm

If anyone wants the spreadsheet PM me. You could also work out how increasing your rev limit would improve the gear speeds. :D

i don't know mate. Our 140's have 6 speed boxes. if you can find the info it should be easy to do

can you scale it up to 8600 rpms :D

the GT is something like
1st 35-40mph
2nd 60mph
3rd 85mph
4th 105mph
5th as fast as you can go

i can go all the way to 7k tho :D
