View Full Version : kick panels for 2000 GTS
Are any kick panels available for a 2000 Celica. I've got a set of Kappa Perfect 6.1 components I want to install. They're deep.

The only ones I know of are custom made ones. I have built at least 3 sets of kick panels for my car (different speakers), and I know others also have kick panels. Custom is the way to go.

ballpark how much will I need to spend?

i have built i couple diffrent sets for my car. they can cost anywhere from 250 to 1000, depends if you want the speaker to screw right on top of the kick do you want the speaker flushed in, tweeter flushed in. how do you want them to be finished, dyed, textured, painted. the new kicks that i made for my celica is a 3 piece kick the speaker mounts from behind to a piece that is painted to match the car(Ido). there is a plexi insert(that lights up blue), with the ouside of the kick dyed to match the interior. it all depends on what u want them to look like.

Yeah, I was suppose to go to SLAP Finals this year, but another processor failure of my AudioControl units made that impossible. AudioControl has officially been removed from my car.
Congrats on your 1st place finish. Bill does some nice work, and I'm sure you worked hard at the shows to get where you are. And if you don't mind me asking, who will you be on-board with next year?
As for IASCA, I'm debating about Finals, too. IASCA has been going down hill, and I know your group isn't the only one that won't be supporting them anymore. This season will be my last with them unless they severely change.
My e-mail address is (edit) Thanks for the pics. :)

Zapcocelica, thanks for the pics. Out of curiousity, were the wires behind the kicks left in place or were they moved?
