i talked with cody today, he's still carless. i don't think they know what's wrong with it yet, they're still trying to figure that one out. hopefully his car will be back by the end of the weekend.

Man that sucks. They've had it for nearly two days and havent even figured out the problem or what they're going to do. Geez, well, they are a good service dept. I'm sure they'll figure it out soon.

i certainly do hope that they find out what's wrong and fix it. gotta love the stupid little problems that can happen with new cars. i still have the 1-2 gear notchiness that almost every rsx has, i need a new short shifter to get rid of that. the neuspeed helped it, but didn't eliminate it like i was hoping for. cody's with rox getting all their paint crap done with, they've been up there all day, he should be back soon i think.

I figured that's where he was. It's been rather quiet around here tonight. I've never driven a GT-S with a SS. I don't have a problem keeping it lift either so I really don't know if I should spend the $$ on it. Hey Michael, got a pic of your car?

You don't need to see his car it looks like everyone else's RSX UGLY he just thinks he is cool that's why he posts on NC.org hehe J/K man his car looks pretty sweet, I think you should try and get those Tinted head light like that Blue RSX had on sunday BTW.

by the way, short shifters on the celi=cool. i drove cody's and it's a tight shift but waaaaay shorter and more fun if you ask me. also, the reason why i post here is because all my friends own celicas, and all the atl rsx's never want to do anything! boy, they're lame, except for emmett he's cool.

Don't get to defensive I was only kidding about you posting here, after all you do come to most of our meets so their is no reason for you not to post here, we do not discriminate against Honda owners here,

i wasn't getting defensive, you're getting defensive!!! jk, it's all good man. i once wanted a celica too, guess i still have a thing for them. but i stand by my statement about how boring the rsx scene is here in atl. on this board, people will actually get together and hang out *gasp*, rsx's are just too busy or not willing to do anything. odd crowd, really.

That's weird I would think they would have the same buyer as the Celica and we seem to be a pretty happening crowd maybe it will take some time for the RSX to get out their, I know the celica crowd wasn't all that when the Celica 1st came out I went to one meet but had to go to work so I couldn't stay very long but that was it after that the old Celica group never really had any meets I guess they hung out and all but they stopped posting on here.

ok, i'm finally back. we had a real long day of disasembling rox's car and then masking everything off. thanks again to her for doing the masking, she made perfect looking circles out of tape around the indents on the A/C controls on both of ours and i think the paint is gonna look extremely nice. and yea, still no word on the car, i meant to call today but didnt think of it until it was too late so i'm definately calling tomorrow and will hopefully find out whats up.

Cody, how much would your guy charge to paint my console panels(all the ones like you have done), and engine plastics? I went to a place up here but they made me fill out some bs paperwork and I sat in the waiting room for a half an hour so I just left. If I can't find anybody local I trust maybe I'll get your guy to do it.

Yeah, that masking off sh*t sucked. I think I did a good jog though and it will hopefully look really nice. I also hope I can get my car back together. It was no fun taking it apart and I forsee it being even less fun trying to get everything back where it belongs. I can ask the guy how much he'd charge to do your plastics Duncan. Do you want the interior and the engine pieces? What color are you getting? He will give you a good price. I will be over there again today. If you want, you can call Cody's cell phone, 'cause he'll be there too, and I can ask the guy anything else for you. I have my wing side pieces off the car right now. Can you make me 2 sets if you have enough material? I want some like the ones I have now and a set that looks different just for fun. Let me know. I will mask off your AC controls for you too. ^_^

yeah, the inerior and the engine plastics, unless I find out I can get the optional engine plastics from Japan for a good price. I'm thinking red, but I will need to think on it some more. I have several other things I need to save money for first though. I may be getting an appartment by the end of April too so that will take a lot of my money. I'll need to see how big the endplates are again. I should be able to do one set, but I'm not sure if two will work. If I use up all the material they might get pissed off at me. We'll see. When is everyone meeting up? Tonight is busy for me. If anyone is still going to the Nopi show that would be cool.

Hey now!!! I'm one of the "old celica group" and I still post here. We did have a few meets back then but the real fun was having our mountain run about Helen. Imagine 5-6 Celicas running balls out through the mountains. I think Dan has video too. We also had a good time at Atl. Dragway once.
I'd like to hang out with you guys more often but between 2 jobs, 1 wife, and 1 6 year old, my time is limited. I always seem to be on the computer though.;)

ShaffeRSX...I can't believe you let Mark call your car a Honda. Most Acura owners get very defensive about that. I'd whoop his ass if I were you :) And as always, you're welcome on this board. We have to have someone to keep us in line. I like the RSX btw. If I hadn't bought my Celi when I did, I would have had a tought choice between the two. I really like the blue ones.

If an RSX owner get offended by their car being called a Honda then they have no right to say they are into cars, if you look at the RSX in any country except ours it is a Honda, Even at the Autocross on Sunday some guy had a blue RSX with the Honda name on it, I don't agree with Honda, Toyota, and Nissan having companies with a different name in our country selling cars that are way over priced, it is still a Honda, Toyota, or Nissan, don't get me wrong they are great cars, and I would love an RSX or an IS300 but call it what it is, just my opinion.

Hehe, I actually agree with you man. Call a spade a spade right?
Wasn't Toyota talking about putting the Celi under their new name next year. Whatever that was, i can't remember. That's a stupid idea if I ever heard one.

That's what I'm saying Americans are too much into names, Screw Gap I go to Old Navy and pay half of what you pay at Gap for the same crap

thanks everybody for the compliments, i like my car too. i'm in no way offended by being called a honda, since that's what it basically is. the word "honda" appears everywhere all over the car as well. in japan, my car is the honda integra type s. weird, huh?

No, the people were way off talking about Scion (the new name) and the Celica joining it, pick up yesterday's paper in the Wheels section there was an article about Scion including a picture... the car that they showed was like a box on wheels... tho the wheels were nice.
