Looking for cars for my bro

Hey guys,

My younger brother is looking for a decent ride. He inherited my old Taurus after I bought my celica, but it committed suicide. Now he is looking for something a bit more stylish but that is in a decent price range.

I think he is looking to spend around 10k max, and we live in Idaho so we get some pretty harsh winter months up here. He test drove an '00 eclipse and a Pontiac Sunfire, but the insurance rates on them were horrendous for him.

Do you guys have any suggestions? It would be much appreciated!

instead of getting the 00' eclipse, tell him to look into maybe a older body eclipse, especially a GSX cuz AWD ownz.

how about a used A4 1.8t quattro. It'll have a couple of problems here and there, but its really nice and will help him in control during the snow :)

AWD is good for the snow. Get some kind of Subaru or chip in and get a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 :)

whats his price range? A good starter car that has some fun to it is the 1999 civic si or a good daily driver econobox is the 93-02 civic dx or ex. You can find em real cheap or get him a 94-2001 integra gsr. If you guys encounter snow alot id suggest a subrau impreza or something along the lines of awd.

i got a 01' oldsmobile alero, 4 door, automatic, low insurance. and its got a 3.4 v6

i woudlnt recommend an eclipse man lol, if they crash its like tenfoil its crazy lol, nice lookin cars but naw lol
