interior painting question

the other day i started painting my interior plastics. First I washed them with degreaser, then wet sanded them down with 600 grit sandpaper, then washed them again, then I sprayed the plastics with duplicolor fkat black paint. my problem is, I have a lot of over spray b/c of all the wierd contours of the pieces.

How can I get rid of the over spray evenly? any help would be much appreciated.

start all over and spray multiple LIGHT coats... go from one end all the way to the next end... dont start or stop in the middle.

i have the same dash and no overspray. :thumbup:

Maybe try using a paint or dye with a fast flash time that way you can use a tack cloth in between coats (good ventilation helps to and down draft).Or use a real spray gun HVLP or even a Syphon gun should work nicelly (a CHEEP siphon gun can be had for about $30 - $40 now a days, the HVLP is in the $400 - $500 range for a Sata ) .Make sure you get about a .04 tip or a .05 fluid tip that should lay out the material very nicelly .Both will allow you to put the matirial on nice ,fast and even unlike a spray aerosol can.Also make sure you have good ventilation (down draft always helps ) and wear a mask when using one of these.PM me if you have any questions I am a Professional autobodyman/Painter

PS: Sem's Complete Vynol/plastic dye line comes in pints and quarts ready to be sprayed out of one of these guns ,instead of aerosol can .It is Quite Affordable too when compared to Dupont and PPG vynol/plastic dyes .

well the panels arent completely flat. So when I sprayed them, some areas wouldnt get covered. And wehn I would go back to cover them, other areas would be oversprayed.
